Then proceed to Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples on Singapore Island. We then proceed to Kampong Glam where you will understand more about the Malay culture. Visit Arab Street and view the magnificent Sultan Mosque. Stroll along the area to see the different shops selling traditional Arab-Muslim food and merchandise. Our final visit is to Little India, a haven of Indian culture and ethnicity that embodies the vibrant and colourful pulse of the Indian community in Singapore.

Chinatown Heritage Centre
Experience how Singapore’s early Chinese migrants once lived and learn more about local Chinese culture at the Chinatown Heritage Centre. You can retrace the journey of those who left their villages in China to escape famine, floods and unrest and headed to Singapore to seek a better life. Most of them settled south of the Singapore River, giving birth to Chinatown.
The Peranakan Museum houses the world’s finest and most comprehensive collection of Peranakan artefacts, representing a unique cultural tradition – fusing ethnic Chinese, Malay and Indian elements – indigenous to Singapore and Southeast Asia. Pulau Ubin Kampong Cooking Experience
Singapore Cooking Experience with island visit. Held on Pulau Ubin, a rustic island off Singapore’s shores. Students will take a 10-minute bumboat ride from Changi Jetty and then proceed to a 100-year old kampong village house. Students will collect around the island local jungle herbs before learning how to prepare and cook local Malay dishes at the kampong garden.
