Marina Barrage

Built in 2008, The Marina Barrage creates Singapore’s 15th reservoir, and the first in the heart of the city in boosting Singapore’s water supply and alleviating flooding. With a catchment area of 10,000 hectares the marina catchment is the island’s largest and most urbanised catchment. In the sustainable Singapore gallery, students can learn about environmental sustainability with the usage of interactive multimedia illustrating how Singapore overcame it’s contraints in natural resources to meet the needs of a fast developing population in an environmentally friendly manner.

New Water Visitor Centre

Learn about the history of Singapore’s water supply and how the city-state has been able to supply water to its growing population. The visitor centre showcases a whole range of science & technologies that are used in order to purify water and to make it safe to drink. Students will learn the 3 stage process of producing NEWater along with understanding the basics of natural filtration.

Singapore Science Centre

The Science Centre Singapore traces the evolution of scientific developments through unique and relevant exhibitions and shows. The centre 14 galleries feature more than 1000 individual exhibits and cover a wide range of topics related to science, technology and mathematics, while the outdoor galleries highlight Singapore’s biodiversity. The Science Centre offers a wide range of science enrichment programmes. Be it a workshop in one of the specialised teaching labs, a lecture demo or an engaging problem-based exploration of an exhibition gallery.

Urban Redevelopment Authority

Singapore City Gallery situated at the Urban Redevelopment Authority. The gallery is specially designed for self-discovery and learning of Singapore’s planning journey through its many interactive exhibits. With 10 thematic areas and more then 50 audio – visual and interactive exhibits. Students will enjoy a guided tour along with viewing architectural models and enjoy various interactive and experiential exhibits throughout the gallery.

FusionWorld, serves as an educational platform to inspire passion for science and technology for students. At FusionWorld, students will embark on a journey to learn about our latest science & engineering technologies and research highlights through a guided tour. As students venture through the five thematic zones, students will explore and discover how cutting edge technologies can enhance our everyday lives and beyond.

Land Transport Authority Gallery

Land Transport in Singapore has evolved over the years and at each stage is constantly faced with different challenges. Embark on a journey to the world of land transport. Students will enjoy a guided tour with learning  about Singapore’s modes of transport and the challenges it faces today with making public transport a choice mode, meeting diverse needs and managing road usage.

Singapore Maritime Port Authority

The Maritime Port Authority organises learning journeys to various facilities, namely the Integrated Simulation Centre and the Port Operations Control centre. Students will observe real-time actions in the operation control room and tour the viewing gallery for an overview of control operations. Students will also have an insight into shipping traffic and port control.

Yakult Singapore

Enjoy Yakult Singapore for an educational tour of its state-of-the-art plant. During the guided tour, learn about the background of the Yakult company and it’s products. Following this, students will watch a scientific documentary on the benefits of probiotics. After the presentation, student’s will view our entire high-tech production process through the glass-walled viewing gallery. The glass walls were specially constructed to provide clear viewing and prevent contamination, accidents and interferences on the factory floor so that student’s can view what goes into Yakult without having to watch their steps. After the tour, enjoy a complimentary bottle of Yakult.

Singapore Maritime Gallery

Discover the Singapore Maritime story as you journey through the experiential zones and learn how Singapore transformed into one of the world’s leading international maritime centres and one of the world’s busiest port. Through panoramic videos, models and interactive stations, students can learn about the maritime sector’s importance to Singapore’s economy.

ENVision Gallery

The ENVision Gallery is a one-stop showcase of Singapore’s environmental story. Students will enjoy a guided tour and can look forward to a multi-sensory experience as you take a journey through the five different zones covering the key environmental topics – air, land, water, energy, and public health with the goal towards a liveable and sustainable Singapore.

Sky Greens

Sky Greens is world’s first low carbon, hydraulic driven vertical farm. Using green urban solutions to achieve production of safe, fresh and delicious vegetables, using minimal land, water and energy resources. Sky Greens endeavours to becoming the world leading solution provider for integrated, sustainable and green urban agriculture technology. Students will enjoy a guided tour and get to learn about the farm and see for themselves how the high tech farm uses innovative technology to achieve high productivity in land scarce Singapore. During the farm tour, students will also get to see 2 prototypes being a floating platform and rooftop farming model.

Nullspace Centre for Robotics Learning. Nullspace is a leading robotics training agency in Singapore, providing quality training for schools and educational institutions formed with the goal of educating students in the field of science and technology through robotics as the learning medium.

Arduino Electronics Workshop

Arduino is an open sourced electronics platform based on easy to use hardware and software. It is intended for any making interactive projects. This workshop aims to introduce microcontroller board programming and simple electronics to students using an open source Arduino microcontroller platform. Each student will receive a ThinkCrate project kit which they can bring home and expand on the project. In this course, students will learn how to set up their own electronics circuit using breadboards, wires and simple components such as LEDs.

Students will be introduced to programming concepts such as IF-ELSE, WHILE, FOR, and Serial Communication using the text based Arduino IDE. At the end of the workshop, students will be able to set up, program, and play with an Arduino based electronic piano. Students will also be able to program their piano to play musical notes automatically without any human interaction.

Mediacorp Experience

The Mediacorp Experience, gives students a chance to experience the magic of media, take a glimpse at behind-the-scene moments and learn about the history and future of broadcasting in Singapore. Mediacorp has the widest range of media platforms in Singapore spanning digital, television, radio, print and out-of-home media. A 90 minutes interactive guided tour, students will be immersed in an interactive journey through space and time. Along the way, choose to take part in a TV production, have a go at being a news presenter, a radio deejay or just glam up for the cover of 8 Days magazine.
